Indexing and Archiving Policy

1. DOI and Persistent Identifiers

All published articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) via CrossRef. DOIs ensure long-term citability and discoverability. Authors' ORCID iDs are collected at submission and associated with published metadata. Books and book volumes are assigned ISBNs through standard ISBN agencies.

2. Metadata Standards

Article metadata is deposited with CrossRef in CrossRef schema format, compliant with the JATS (Journal Article Tag Suite) standard (NISO Z39.96). Metadata includes full reference lists for CrossRef Cited-by linking.

3. Digital Preservation

Articles are preserved in perpetuity through the following archiving programmes:

• PKP Preservation Network (PKP-PN) — LOCKSS-based decentralised archiving
• Portico — dark archive for long-term preservation
• CLOCKSS — triggered access dark archive

4. Indexing Databases

Content from this journal is indexed or submitted for indexing in the following databases (current list; subject to change):
