Editorial Independence Policy

Last updated: April 13, 2026

Editorial independence is fundamental to the integrity of scholarly publishing. This policy is based on the ICMJE Recommendations, COPE guidelines, and the OASPA Code of Conduct.

1. Principle

All editorial decisions are made on the basis of scholarly merit and relevance to the journal's scope, free from commercial, political, or personal influence. The publisher does not interfere in editorial decisions.

2. Publisher Role

The publisher (RSYN PRESS) provides resources, infrastructure, and operational support but does not participate in editorial decisions on individual manuscripts. The editor-in-chief has sole and final authority over acceptance, rejection, and content.

3. Advertiser and Sponsor Influence

Advertising and sponsorship arrangements have no influence on editorial decisions. Advertisers and sponsors have no access to manuscripts before publication. No article is published or rejected on the basis of commercial relationships.

4. Complaints

Complaints regarding undue editorial influence may be submitted to the editor-in-chief at raman@rsyn.org. If the complaint concerns the editor-in-chief, it should be directed to the publisher at publishing@rsynbooks.com. We follow the COPE flowchart on handling complaints about journals.
